History of Blue Meanie Magic Mushrooms:
Blue Meanie magic mushrooms are right up there when it comes to legendary magic mushroom strains. This is because the mushroom’s raw potency offers intense and incredible effects. It is so overwhelming that it is seen as almost mystical by many. Because Blue Meanies are so powerful, it is recommended that you start with a different kind of magic mushroom if it is your first time trying magic mushrooms.
The Blue Meanie strain is thought to have originated in Southeastern Australia from the Psilocybe cubensis species. It gets its name from blue bruising which occurs wherever the body is impacted. Its visual characteristics include medium/large fruiting bodies with thick, dense stalks and a golden caramel to tan, often white speckled cap. Blue Meanie is also a common name for Panneolus cyanscens (a different mushroom species).
The overall experience associated with Blue Meanies lasts 4-8 hours, with normal peaking frequency. They are intensely euphoric with a psychoactive high. Users report high feelings of euphoria, intense auditory and visual hallucinations as well as a heavy body buzz.
Trip Level 0: Microdosing

This level is where visual hallucinations along with the appearance of patterns and fractals will be evident. No more hinting or subtle flashes of visuals, it’s happening for real. The surface of the object you’re observing will become shiny and moving, as your field of depth is altered. Distortions in the aptitude to measure the passage of time might cause a 1 hour to feel like an eternity.
Level 4: Flying with the stars
Recommended dosage: 3 – 4 g. dried mushrooms – Strong hallucinations take over: a psychedelic flood of shapes, contours, and colors will blend together and hit the shores of your consciousness. There’s no stopping the waves in Level 4. There will be some moments when you will lose touch reality. Random, non-existent objects will appear and the concept of time will fade away to the background. Intriguing to some, scary to others, this is the level where psychedelics can really be powerful, life-altering and mind-expanding. Keep in mind that this dosage is only recommended for experienced users.
Level 5: Total loss
Dosage: Anywhere from 4 – 5 g. dried mushrooms – Total loss of contact with reality. Intense hallucinations. Great distortion of the perception of space and time. The disappearance of the logical and known perception of reality. Great introspection and loss of identity. Sensitive, emotional and personal experiences impossible to describe, once the psychedelic experience ends. Level 5!

This was my first ever proper full mushroom trip. I have had small amounts before but never really had a full dose. I ate about an hour prior and am 220lbs. I decided to not go crazy based on some research with this strain, so started with 1 gram. I started to feel good about 30 minutes in but figured I could handle another half gram so went ahead. About 30 minutes after that, The walls started breathing. My hubby and I were sitting in a hot tub under a gazebo with lights all around it…it wasn’t a gazebo anymore, it was a flying hot tub space ship. I couldn’t tell if the city was rotating around me or if the ship was just spinning. Seriously, it felt like one of those virtual reality roller coasters but in real life. Freakin awesome! There was about a half second where I thought to myself “I could handle more, let’s do this”, then it hit me harder, like really hard. I can see how some people go into a bad trip but I’ve had enough experience to know, you just gotta go with it, get out of your head, and ride the wave, so that’s what I did. it was awesome! I am so glad I didn’t take more because that would have been next level not fun. All in all, it was a great time, but I think I’ll stick to just 1 gram next time, and give it a bit more time before taking more. Even if you’re experienced, seriously, take half or two thirds less than normal. When this stuff hits you, it comes on strong. Take it easy!

Very great trip with these. Great way to spend your evening. I eat about 6/8 grams at a time. I also suffer from. Cluster head aches. But not when these are used periodically. These were hit and miss for me. Had one great trip on 3 grams each with my lady and the rest of our attempts seemed like duds. Out of the 28 grams we got only 6 of them did something for us. That one 3 gram trip was excellent though, I’ll say that.
